Having a vision, being the first

A few decades ago, it was still widely believed that energy was overabundant. Today we know that although the demand for energy is growing rapidly from year to year, the resources are limited. In this day and age energy efficiency and energy savings are the main priorities.

In many European countries, households consume almost 30 percent of the primary energy. In the future, considerable energy savings will be realised with micro CHP, the simultaneous generation of heat and power on site. This has also been recognised by the European Community, which is supporting this resource-saving technology on its way to the market.

We are on the verge of major change in heating system technology, in which the fuel cell will play a significant role. The GAMMA 1.0, our fuel cell heating system for the single family home, is tangible evidence of just how real this vision will soon prove to be. It is already in the final test phase, undergoing technical fine-tuning.

We encourage anyone interested in this highly promising technology to join in the creative dialogue. Together with you, the energy providers, the suppliers, development partners, specialist fitters, architects and municipal authorities, we want to be the first to reap the benefits of this dialogue – in the form of an economically and ecologically balanced strategy. We will continue down the road of dialogue until we arrive at a market-ready product.
